Join us for the third place student film from this year’s contest, an introductory lecture by Dr. Sarah Senk, and Alfred Hitchcock’s Lifeboat. Drinks, snacks (including popcorn!) and entertainment, all for free!

Film Description: Survivors of a torpedoed ship find themselves in the same boat with one of the men who sunk it. (watch trailer)

This year’s third place student film is Bear Cruise 2016, submitted by Will DuBois. Travel with cadets through the itinerary of the Dominican Republic, Baltimore, Fort Lauderdale, Puerto Rico, New York, and Charleston, South Carolina.

The Maritime Film Festival is free and open to the public. All movies will be introduced by faculty at 7 p.m. in Rizza Auditorium on the campus of Cal Maritime. Free parking will be available in lots A and D. For directions and map of campus,visit
